If you are not able to participate in a residency at this time, but you would like to be supportive of 360 XQMX, we would be so grateful for your contribution. This residency is a big project with many moving parts and many details to manage. We work hard to offer a space for creatives to be creative and although the business is growing, it is still a big undertaking with a long list of expenses. Here are a few ways your contribution can assist us in providing an arts center that is significant for not only our residents ... but the greater community.

• 360 XQMX donates the entire building to the Festival del Lago for the first two weeks of August.  The youngest members (ages 11-16) of this academy are housed at 360 XQMX. Having them under one roof solves a number of logistical issues for the festival, but most importantly it creates a safe space for these musical prodigies to be kids ... when they aren't on stage.  They order pizzas and entertain Arthur (my dog) and play games in the pool. Besides that, they practice individually, rehearse in ensembles, participate in Master Classes and perform incredible pieces of music.  It is an honor to be their host. We host up to (18) students and their chaperone. 

• 360 XQMX donates the entire building to the FERIA Maestros del Arte.  Every year Ajijic welcomes (85) artisans from around Mexico to show their work at a large market in November.  They travel sometimes for up to (24) hours on a bus with their crafts to participate in this curated market.  360 XQMX will house (10 ) artisans and their helpers, In addition to accommodations, I am asked to provide breakfast, dinner and a bag lunch for each of them. 

• I will have to purchase (24) sets of TWIN sheets and blankets to accommodate both the students and the FERIA artisans. It is complicated to find quality sheets with both a top & bottom sheet  and a decent cotton blanket in Mexico. Sheets and blankets will have to be ordered from the USA, which is expensive. 

• 360 XQMX would like to purchase a piano from a local thrift store, as it will hopefully attract more musician residents.  It will also be used every day during the Festival del Lago, as the students rehearse and participate in Master Classes which are offered to the public and free to attend. Any time we have an Opening Reception for an art exhibition, we hire live musicians. A piano would be an asset and make for lovely accompaniment.
