Dylan Landis is the award-winning author of the Rainey Royal Series--three works of fiction set in 1970s and '80s Greenwich Village: List of All Possible Desires, a novel in stories; the novel Rainey Royal, a New York Times Editors' Choice; and the novel in stories Normal People Don't Live Like This. Her short stories and personal essays have appeared in The New York Times Modern Love and NYTBR, Harper's Magazine, O. Henry Prize Stories, Best American Nonrequired Reading, the anthology What My Mother and I Don't Talk About, and elsewhere. She has been awarded a fellowship in fiction from the National Endowment for the Arts, among other honors, and in a past life wrote six books on interior design. Los Angeles is home.
