Lee LaBier is a New York based multidisciplinary artist whose autobiographical, confessional art examines the formation of identity utilizing photography, video and installation. Using self-portraits to record her transitioning identity, LaBier’s artwork attempts to understand the personal and imposed experiences that modify our identities.
She holds a Bachelor of Art History from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a BFA in Photography from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her works are represented in private and public collections and have been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
