We are thrilled to share with you the paintings of Ecuadorian artist, Olmeda Quimbita. His vibrant and colorful work is collected internationally and is a fusion of magical realism and symbolism. Mostly an acrylic painter, he uses layers of paint to create depth and dimension. His work has been shown in Venezuela, Israel, Egypt, Spain, Uruguay, England and Russia.
Work by Olmeda Quimbita:
Complementing Quimbita's work will be a curated selection of small bronze sculptures from the Art21 Studio Bronze Foundry in Zapopan. Artists from all over the world travel to Guadalajara to create sculptures and have them produced at Art21 Studio. We have chosen pieces that we hope will find a way to your home.
In addition to the small sculptures curated for this show, the exterior of the 360 XQMX headquARTers is adorned with a stunning, chrome sculpture by Guadalajaran sculptor, Claudia Rodriguez. She has exhibited in Guadalajara, Monterray, Havana, Brussels and Miami as well as being selected fro the III Bienal Monterey FEMSA.
The central courtyard of the 360 XQMX headquARTers has been enhanced by the work of Stephany Kerwin. Her robust and curvaceous figures are whimsical and empowering at the same time.
