Hosted Residency: Urban Sketching in Jalisco

  • headquARTers: Constitución 98 (map)

Book your plane tickets and your reservation with 360 XQMX so you don't miss this adventure. Leave the planning and transportation to us as 360 XQMX will act as your local guide and sketch concierge. It will be an Uban Sketcher's dream as this residency will include morning and evening sketching sessions, participation with the Ajijic Sketchers, happy hour sketching at local venues, excursions to a foundry, vineyard and Japanese gardens... and so much more. Timing of this residency creates opportunities for you to experience a local balloon festival and one of Mexico's celebrated holidays, Independence Day. Wake up every day in the charming community of Ajijic, grab your art materials and be prepared to explore the local region, capturing all of the color and texture in your notebook.

“My two weeks in Mexico were an absolute dream. The artist retreat was the perfect balance of creativity and adventure—the location was beautiful, the town was so welcoming, and every excursion was both fun and inspiring. I loved having time to create while soaking up the local culture.”

- Linda Facci
